Hey All,
Is there any way that I can lighten the clutch on the ute. I have a crook knee and it plays up sometimes in heavy traffic. Cheers

you could do a number of things,
Replace the clutch with a lighter foot feel. I recall some advertised that they have 30% more clamp with less pedal effort. Speak to a clutch specialist, as numerous brands may have lightened the pedal effort due to the fact fords firewalls are weak of the 80's and 90's era. Convert to hydraulic. renew the cable with a good quality one, not a cheap spiral made in china.

Hey mate, I have a heavy duty clutch from C.I. and a new cable and the pedal feels lighter than standard. I have also replaced the pedal box and bushes which also helped

I Know how you feel. Those clutches quickly become your
Enemy in traffic. I've recently broken TIB and fib bones in left leg. Hating life at the moment with my XH. Thinking about selling it for a Echo or some thing

I don't run mine through the crossmember but over the top so the cable lies in a better position. I just use large cable ties to keep from hanging. When i did this the pedal was lighter with better feel. When you feed it through the crossmember as per the workshop manual it tends to kink on the left side. Maybe try this with a new cable. Good luck mate.
