Hey guys, just looking at air intake options for my 94 XG ute?
I was looking into pod filters but without building a custom box it would just be sucking up hot air. Do the xr6 versions of my model have a different air intake setup? or will another model suit? cheers =) |

Have a look at the xh snorkel for the standard airbox. It might give you some ideas.

What he said.
Plus get the airbox to throttle body piping from an EA, it has no restriction and will flow more air. A good air filter like a K&N or Fram will also help.

thanks guys appreciate it, so it would be better to use piping of an ea and then bring it into an xh snorkel.. Ill look around and see what i can find, do you guys think i should go pod or just get a k&n panel filter?

I don't think on a fairly stock car that you can beat a clean standard filter. I fitted a K & N to my ute with bugger all change, but you can clean and reuse it.
