hey guys,
i adjusted the hand brake on my el today to the point where it was just rubbing with it off, as directed by my older brother, now the problem is the hand brake pulls up to almost vertical which is what i was hoping to get rid of by adjusting it, is it a chance my cable has streched? and is there away to adjust it |

Did you adjust the shoes at the rear or at the handbrake handle itself? Have you adjusted the handbrake handle?

Covered pretty well here: gearbox-suspension-brake-driveline-f4/handbrake-adjustment-t115133.html
Although you'll find it hard to access the adjuster - better to access the rear discs to slide on and off, and adjust till they're hard to get on and start binding when rotating, then back the adjuster off. Looking downwards both sides adjust clockwise to expand the shoe. There's a total of around 12 clicks for full handle travel - handbrake should be holding about 5 or 6. Make sure you've done that all properly - if no joy check the rear cable and mounting hardware.

the shoes are just binding as you said i will jack it up and check the mounts and cable,
