So im now thinking of going au block with cp pistons, spool rods, au mls headgasket at hopefully somewhere around 8:1 - 8.5:1 should be good for 15 psi + :D

You'll be good for 30 PSI..

for 250rwkw, can't go past a std AU engine.
Get one with good comp and put new gaskets/seals and it will last for ever.

not with 8.5 comp lol

CP's are great but the spools wont hold on and most likely not the CP's unless he's gonna run some funky fuel lol

lower your comp for that much boost. for 15 psi and if you know you're sensible to stay there and never ever want more (read: not a single hot blooded male will agree lol) then the 8.5 comp is fine.

Here look. This is me cruising in 3rd gear at 7.8 compression 28 psi.... no lag, no power issues.

You would be nuts if you didn't use E85..
Which takes 30Lb+ on 8.8 compression easy..
We're getting a head of ourselves here..
Turbo efficiancy and MAP has to be considered..
Street engines only require 280 rwkw MAX..[12 to 15Lb]
If it's being built for road use and race weekends ??
There's about 3 different ways to skin a cat here..
