Finally got round to doing a dyno run on my ED sedan......the last one was over 2 years ago.
I got 219.5 hp at the treads....or 161 kw in metric speak.
Looks like I need new valve springs.

nice work there cjh :). Is that the one with your home port/polish EA head?

I need to give my car some TLC before I put it on the dyno again. She has been losing power though, so I doubt I'd get the same figures as before even with the J3, AU injectors and 300kpa.

Yep, the same head with standard valves and springs.
That head has never seen a flow bench either, all done by me with just "feel" and "looking".
The "swirl ridges" are intact, just rounded off so there are no sharp edges.
The bottom end is original unopened.
I think ED's were like 147/148 kw at the flywheel back in the day......someone clarify...????

That's bloody good power with what you have done to the car. Have you taken it down the strip yet?

Naaaahh........but I'd like to though.....I have to fit a tailshaft loop....local rules here.....the track is about a 250km round trip.

Well.......I've fitted new valve springs, Crow Cams p# 7739-12 XR6 springs, and it hasn't helped... :(
Looks like i'll need to tune it some more.....???
