Get a header tank from a GLi. They don't usually have the low coolant warning sensor.

Why would you want to get rid of it anyway?

I don't want to delete the sensor I want to delete the whole bottle. Have like a car where it's filled from the radiator not a separate bottle. I'm doing a quick engine clean up and want my strut towers to be clean so want to remove the bottle and lines completely

thew reason its there is because the radiator is below the engine, and you need the header tank up higher than the head on the engine so the heads always full of water, its gravity. thats my take on it anyway, someone else can explain it in more detail

The coolant tanks serves a couple of puposes,
1) acts as an expansion tank.
2) Is higher than the radiator/motor and allows the air in the cooling system to self bleed.

If you remove it you will need something for an expansion tank and also a way to bleed the air from the cooling system.

yep this is what i was thinking,

the father in laws skyline race car had a very small tank (500mls or so) mounted somewhere in the engine bay up high to fill the system with water and bleed the air out, so basically its easier just to leave the factory tank in otherwise a small aftermarket one will look out of place anyway
