Hey guys
Lonnng time since ive been on here since my days with my EF 6, but i just bought a work hack EF V8 for a steal and first thing i noticed is how f**k slow it is, a stock manual six would leave it for dead! So i want to make it breathe! its got a full exhaust but its only 2.5inch from the cats back, so im going to flick the cats and get a full 3" system soon, and i hear the explorer manifold is good too, but where can i get one? Also the MAF is TINY, if i upgrade this do i need to get it tuned? Same with TB.. I cant believe ford got away with restricting the intake this much! A 4cyl Camry prob has a bigger TB ad MAF!! Cheers

yeah those 302's are so down tuned its not funny i have a NC V8.
mate spent 2k on a trickflow kit comes with heads manifold throttle body headers cam, now its scary fast. my NC has just a AU snorkel and headers and seems to go a little faster than before but still my mates EF xr6 manual keeps up with it easily |

yeah im surprised in its top end, or lack of it!
No wonder people say its easier to do up the 6.. its way faster for the $$$ it seems Mmm thats way more than i want to spend tbh.. jjust after maybe the explorer maniford or cobra one

yeah they seem to be common upgrades, they are just down tuned via air intake and ecu so fix them should be good
