HI Guys,

Have recently bought an EB2 wagon as my daily driver. Great car and going well, except, I would like to have the tailgate lock/unlock with the doors from the remote key fob like the EF's do. I think its a real pain to have to remember to lock the tailgate when leaving the car.

So I have got the wiring diagrams for both the EB2/ED and the EF. Might as well be in Chinese!

Basically, the locking wire from the tailgate switch is Brown/Orange and the Unlock is Violet. I know I will by pass the switch, but which wires do I connect these to? I know that this has been done before, but I need a simpletons explanation!

get a back door solanoid, fit to plate in tailgate, then use wiring from a wreck to run from tailgate to drivers centre pillar then tap into door lock wires for right rear door but on the body loom.
