Here's a blurb about BMC:

Engineers of the Triple 8 Racing (Team Vodafone), Holden Racing Team, Stone Brothers Racing, d**k Johnson Racing and Brad Jones Racing have all vouched that BMC Air Filters give better horsepower and superior filtration than any other products they have ever tested.

BMC Air Filters are designed and manufactured in Italy and were originally developed in association with the Ferrari F1 Team. They are now used by 8 out of 11 F1 Teams

Since 1996, BMC Air Filters have equipped some of the most important teams in F1 and Le Mans including Ferrari, BMW, Mercedes Benz, Toyota, Porsche, Bentley and Audi.

BMC Air Filters involvement in a large number of championship wins in V8 Supercars, Formula 1, 24 Hours Le Mans and the American Le Man Series, prove that BMC Air Filters provide the best performance even in extreme condition

They also supply a washing & re-oil kit.
IPV have proven them on the dyno as giving an immediate hp increase so that's what they supply after being into this for years.

This thread died in 2007. Plus statements without substance to back up the claims are pointless.

AND the pressure drop over the filter is such a small part of the total through the intake, that even IF you could halve it, it would be a pointless waste of money.

Claiming that bunch of race engines use it and trying to relate that back to a road car intake system is dumb.

Hungry Jacks now have a Chicken Mini, not sure if the chicken is actually edible but I assume it is alot more edible than McDonalds offerings....One does not simply trust McDonalds when their Serious Lamb Burger ads depict staff that had NFI that a Lamb Burger was even on the menu. You would think the Store Manager would have called a meeting to introduce their "new product" to the masses...A serious fault with the Lamb Burger ad, but a somewhat delicious burger (for the now over priced McDonalds) they use to be cheap man and nasty...now its expensive and nasty. Like a HSV.
