Coilpack plugs or leads? (If you kept the coilpack on the ef motor)

Could try pulling the plugs off one at a time while the engine is running. When mine shat the bed it was fairly obvious the coilpack had died because pulling #3 and #4 leads off it made no difference to how it ran. So if 1+6, 2+5 or 3+4 are playing up together then I would guess coilpack.

It would have to be Coil & Dizzy if he is running the EA ECU.

Check the coil, plugs and leads. How is the MAP sensor?

Is it a constant miss or only under load?

If its breaking down under load then either the plugs or leads are a good start.

When did you last replace the fuel filter?
