Hey guys, just a quick question, does the NC/ED/DC Digital Climate Control Panel work in an NA without any modifications needed?

Any one know if it'll work without any changes?

Depends on the exact climate panel.

There are a few - and they have matching Fan Speed regulators to go with them.

I know that the 91 model climate control panel (Silver) - I think its an 87da number can be replaced with the one from a 91/92 EB, but that the 93 EB one isnt compatible due to changes at the Fan speed controller. Or at least, that was my experience. I swapped a black one into my NC LTD before I stripped it

Yeah, the one I'm looking at is a black unit from a Fairmont EBII/NC. I'm thinking my model may be too old. Pitty, the silver units just look like plastic that's gone brittle rather than silver.

I actually believe it works. I dont beleive the climate got an update from EA through to EBI. EBII got the black one with numbers not bars. 93 they changed the Fan Control Unit (Reliability I think) and the way it was driven so the later units dont work. 94 is definetly different (CFC Free on the panel)
