cool, so if i just pull out engine and box, change over full wiring loom, extend fuel lines and thats about it in a nut shel?

Pretty much. Harness In The dash is ok but harness on inside firewall will have to be changed and engine bay harness

was gonna swap dash and all just so pretty much everything will be the same just in a different shell

True - although remember that will also change your speedo reading etc.

The dash harnesses themselves are identical from I6 to 8. The Fairlane/LTD/Ghia ones are different to the other models though, and if you want to use the fairlane one you'll also need the full door harnesses and body harnesses with the door open switches

yeah this conversion is Fairmont sedan to Fairmont wagon so other than drivetrain nothing will be touched. i just finished my NC V8 to NF interior did seats dash door loom engine loom all that, so have mucked around with it all before
