hey im looking at either getting an ba/bf typhoon or and fg xr6T
im wondering in terms of performance which is the better option and your personal opinion, im more towards the fg because its a newer car, but then having an fpv would be pretty sweet

personally, i would go the BF TYPHOON. mmm FPV

but in saying that i think the performance stock standard the FG xr6T might have the edge.

Unless the typhoon has optioned brakes, FG.

I'd go with the FG XR6T. It'll have all the latest gadgets and safety gear. The FG looks better too. I believe the engines are the same between the two cars so I'm not sure one would be faster than the other unless there's a weight advantage. I'm pretty sure the FG has launch control so this may help off the line.

I previously owned a BA XR6T and it was a nice car but my current FG is far better. They have made some small but noticeable changes to the FG to make it a better car. One thing that always annoyed me on the BA was the door rubbers near the windscreen. They used to fill up with crud and bugs so fast. The FG has now eliminated this problem with a new door/pillar design. Much better. The FG spoilers are a little higher (angled) so lowering is easier without scraping everything.

Having said all that, at the end of the day you only have to please one person... That's yourself!

fg. newer model with newer looks, same engine, less years/k's on the clock, probably less on insurance, price of xr6t parts vs fpv specific parts, latest goodies in the car.
