Hi guys,
I noticed some oil on the ground this morning before work and thought I'd have a look into it when I get home. Turns out to be the high pressure hose from the pump end. I've searched here to find that it is infact the O-ring and the swivel part of the hose, so I'm planning on going to get a new hose tomorrow because I'm not too confident about cutting that nut at the pump end. But for the life of me I can't get the hose out of the rack end, all I can do is wiggle it but it won't come out. Car is on stands as I was having a look underneath. It's an EF and any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks guys! |

Just cut the nut. Be gentle and take your time.

Any other ideas? Is it meant to be hard to get the hose out of the rack end?
Thanks! |

That's about it - renew the O ring and don't cross thread the nut putting it back on the rack.
