G'day,
I have done reserch and I have some answers!
I'm fitting a reconditioned tickford head to my efII fairmont. I know it fits but will this combination work if I use an au ford head gasket to go with it.
I dunno if it helps but I have;
-full exhaust system
-3.45 LSD
- ef2 ghia ecu
-air intake and k&n
- au fuel injectors and 300kpa reg
- blah blah blah!!

Also wat do u guys believe Is a reasonable price to remove my head and fit the tickford head with an au head gasket??
Cheers guys :)

All fits as far as I'm aware, you'll want to shave the head more with an au gasket over e series.

It should be the same price ($600-$850) as a normal head gasket job unless you want all the other stuff fitted too and if the tickford head has already been machined and tested then I'd be expecting to pay much less!

you just want to skim the head, if you take too much off and use the Au gasket, your more likely to ping, especially if you have extractors.
