you will need the change the right hand side loom. i just cut and resoldered mine on. the colours are all the same but the plug is different.

Everything worked on mine but the door sensors as the fairmont does not have them in the floor loom

I am new to the blue oval so excuse me, but why would you put the Nf cluster in over an Ef Fairmont?
I have an Ef fairmont and seriously would like to know. The only Lane I have owned or driven in was an Nc, so Im a bit out of date sorry guys

Thanks for the info on the cluster, the NF cluster is a higher end cluster, just looks better than the Ef one. especially if you fit blue led's.

Just a bit cleaner colour output isn't it. Looks nice, might start looking round myself. Thanks guys

Does one of the Lane clusters or LTD's have a transmission gear display on it? I think I caught something about one of them having this in a thread ages ago.....So when your in what ever gear it will light it up on a display on the cluster?

I think by memory that you need a few more wire connections to get the added extras for the high end like door/fuel open indicators. I know of a guy that makes up wiring looms to add it in the cluster. I know I was just looking at his cluster to go into my fairmont last week on cheapbay but didnt have money to go further.

Vic's writeup in the tech docos covers pretty much all you need to know.
