Hi, just a simple question re diff ratios
 is there much point in going from a 3:23 to a 3:27 - i can understand going from a say 2:92 to 3:27 Thanks |

hi just thort id ask a similar question, im getting a XR8 diff for my ef futura, i was told the speedo will be out, how can i correct it?

change the gear on the speedo sender in the trans extension housing.
need to figure out what the right gear to get for the ratio change you're making.

when i changed my diff ratio went from 3.45 - 3.9 i found my speedo was out 10-15km out and changed a the speedo gear to a gear with 2 extra teeth (cant remember amount of teeth) and speedo was fine after that!
