Sure this topic has been done to death, spent quite some time on these forums having a look at what other people are doing, people's opinions and I feel like I'm finally ready to start throwing some cash at my car.

Originally was looking at an SS Growler set-up, lot of positive and negative comments, at the end of the day it finally came down to looks for me, yeah it does look good but it looks out of place. Rather than spending the $620 decided to go with the XR8 Snorkel and swap the lower box out, which quite a few people seem to have done then dropping in a K&N Filter.

I am however curious as to what people think of the Big Mouth scoops and if they're worth the money?

Big mouth is a waste of time, get the XR Turbo lower with the extra intake.

Go to your Ford dealer and ask for a FG MK1 GT complete air intake, this gets you the box, top and bottom, as well as the larger intake scoop as well. Mine came with a new air filter for good measure!! The whole lot cost me $400ish from memory, then get yourself a K&N filter, sorted

There is a little modifying on the scoop to be done as well as the hose going from the top side of the box to the throttle body but thats about it.

I did it to my N/A XR6 and it works a treat!!!
