whats involed in changing a nf diff to a el xr8 diff , will it make much difference

It will just be a disc to disc diff change.
If you can get the XR8 control arms with the diff do so as they are slightly different for better handling. Changing from the 3.23 the NF would ahve to a 3.45 XR diff will make a difference in acceleration but not massive.

got the control arms and different handbrake cable , i thought the diff ratio was lower in a fairlane , someone told me it was like 3:08 or 3:12
