I was pulled over by a lady yesterday saying my brake light are out.
I went and replaced the brake switch on my ef fairmont and my brake lights are still on, even wen I don't have my foot on the brake, or have my lights on. Could it be a dodgy brake switch or something else, oh yeah and my cruise control does not work either!! I really need help, thanks!! |

You cruise will not work because it thinks the brakes are on.
If you remove your brake light switch and have a look at it you can adjust the gap between contacts in it, if you are careful. But I'd still source another switch as they are VERY temperamental.

If it was me, I would connect the switch up without it on the brake pedal, and see if that works. If it is o.k., it is something to do with the putting in of the switch
