either your turbo is over sized for your setup, or the 3" exhaust and the injectors are too small... it seems like a mismatch of hardware... what are you plans for the car?

I also think maybe the turbo is a tad to large for an almost stock set up but then again I am not mechanic and I am sure some of the learned people on here will come up with the turbo sizing. I see the vehicle is using a 4" dump but I would have though cat back system in 3" would be ample considering its a 4ltr engine. Anyway like I said before I am curious to read what your theory is what the 3" exhaust.

4lt at 20psi is alot of exhuast flow... (I assume this is the intention with this size turbo?)

(I assume this is the intention with this size turbo?) --------- WOW 20psi that a lot of boost for a stock engine, I would be scared going that high a boost with stock pistons and bottom end. We are only running 10psi boost on Garrett GT35/82r making 295rwkw and I am little worried. We run a full 3" system no issues as yet well just the noise is a tad loud.

Compressor may be out of its efficiancy range though ??

My Garrett T04E-10 .50 comp .58 rear it stops spinning at idle. It's had a fresh rebuild and in great nic. I wouldn't even think twice. At idle with the throttle closed u won't be making enough pressure to spool. 42lb will be fine I'm running stock 19lb injectors at 60psi fuel pressure and 15psi boost. I've got a straight through exhaust but log manifold. Does it only happen when the engines cold? If the oil is cold your bearings won't glide the same as hot thin oil.
