Less power will solve that problem lol, 400rwhp would definitely be a likely cause of traction loss.
What brand and model are these decent tyres that you've got? |

being a ute will make it worse coz of less weight over the back wheels.
also solid axle diff... just go easyer on the right pedal.

Define good tyres. Also, a set of Caltracs would increase traction levels.

There are a few options: 1. Softer rear springs which provide better weight transfer and therefore more traction 2. Lower the front spring mounts by creating a spacer bracket, note this needs to be done in conjunction with measurement and possible adjustment of diff pinion angle at normal ride height (the lowering of the front mounts provides increased vector of traction forces downwards creating more downwards force on the tyres - we used this method in the 90s to create better traction on certain production class cars ) 3. As stated by another poster, use of Caltrac hardware I was able to get pretty good traction in my BA Supercharged Pursuit by using the softer springs, Bilstein shocks, and Yokohama Advan tyres.

You might be able to pickup a bit of extra traction if you play with your rear tyre pressure. Otherwise, it's a leaf spring setup, what about a set of "slapper bars"? Yes I'm just old enough to know what they are.....
