I have a 2004 BA Ford Falcon mk2 and the central locking has stopped working from the remote.

I have had a look around the internet and found out the process of turning key round to ACC and then pushing the demister button three times within five seconds.. Apparently this is supposed to trigger the locks to cycle and then you can re program the key fob...

HOWEVER! When I try this process the locks do not cycle, I have tried pressing it quicker, slower more times less times and still no result..

any ideas, suggestions or even clues would be greatly appreciated!
