hi fellas

I have a series 1 xr6 ba ute and im having a lot of problems with the engine misfiring under load.

i original checked the coils and plugs and found that all 6 of the plugs where where very black so i assumed this was the problem so i changed all the plug and this seemed to have done the trick

after a couple of months (3000kms) the problem started again. i pulled the plugs out and again all 6 of them where where just as carbonated as before

the car goes through a lot of oil, and i can see most of that coming out the back when take off.

the car has only done 130,000 kms which makes me think it surly couldn't be the valves

i dont give the car a thrashing, and it is completely stock under the hood

thanks

Hay Ryan,

How did you go with this problem?

My BA ute is doing the same.

Cheers
