ive got an el that i have had for a year and the remote has never worked but the light comes on. ive tryed to re program it (demister 3x then doors 1x) but nothing happens.

From memory have the ignition on, then hit the switch. After a short time the locks cycle and then it will learn the remotes. Last time I didnt wait long enough......
