Don't know much about Diff's and before I put this 3.45 LSD into my falcon I want to put new clutches in it ( I think? )

Basically what i'm asking is, what do I need to replace to make sure both wheels spin for lots of fun. And where would I get the parts from?

My dad can help me do all the work, he just wants me to source the parts I want replaced and I don't really know what Im doing / talking about when it comes to diff's.

Thanks

They have cones, not clutches like the ol' 9" diffs.
You could try genuine for parts....and replace the springs.
They look like this basically.....

If that's how you are going to treat the car then don't waste your time on it.
You'll get it working nicely for about a month and then it will be stuffed again.
They are not a performance LSD and you will wear it real fast.

if you want 2 wheel burnout fun, get a spool or a mechanical locker, i can vouch for the lsd not lasting long when abused, i had my ed one rebuilt atleast once every 2 years from high power and medium to high abuse...

When I say "some fun" I just mean I want both wheel to spin when I do deicde to have some fun on a corner every so often. I'm not interested in doing long burnouts or abusing the car, just a few wheel spins every so often, nothing that will damage the car.

Can anyone tell me what I need to do to freshen up the LSD? I don't plan on abusing it. :)
