yea they will fit.. if they are au2 or 3 listed plugs the difference is in the gap..
ea-au1 plugs have a 1.1mm gap, au2 and 3 have a 1.3 gap.. otherwise they will fit and work fine just re gap them to 1.1 |

The reach of the electrode is completely different...XF, EA plugs are very long.

I'm only pointing it out due to the difference in the combustion chambers of the heads....EA's having a Swirl Ridge, and the EF/EL not having one.
Remember it was an Engineer that spec'd those plugs....and on a dyno, you would see a difference.

The projected tip of the EA plug is basically the "secret" behind the JMM plugs. The story goes that they were sent the wrong plugs by accident, but they made an extra 3-4 kw (tested on an EF). These projected-tip "wrong" plugs are the Autolite 985s that JMM sell for more than twice the price of anywhere else. I can't confirm the accuracy of their power gain claims, but I have been using them for years in my EF and AU2 with no problems (even with the thinner MLS head gasket and .015" shaved head in the EF). It looks like the NGK BRE527Y is very similar, though not sure about the heat range.
