They have washers and gaskets O rings for a f**k reason!!!!! 80% of sumps have a softer plug then the threaded hole So you f**k the plug before the sump. |

I have had a few mixed opinions with friends and the boys at work but now I'm wondering what the people on the forums think. Maybe i'm just reading this wrong but If the car has only done 3000km best to leave that oil in there so it can run the engine in then after the 15,000km mark, then you can do every 5000 or 7500 or what ever you want. |

Leaving oil in for 15,000km for break in.....is...well...a joke. Ask any engine builder.....800km is plenty to break in a car engine....and do an oil & filter change. The old saying goes, "every 3 when it's free....every 5 to keep it alive."

I guess this is what happens when people who don't know, hand out advice. The problem with forums everywhere. |

Maybe people should just do what the car manual tells them to do which solves this whole problem
