Hey everyone, my older brother has an AU that he wants to mess around with. He's got a mate that can get a hold of panels relatively cheap, so please, don't reply with "not worth it" or whatever. We are curious if anyone has put an AU fairlane front on a regular falcon?

My brother hates the triangular shaped lights of the AU and the front end in general. I didn't think the front end of a fairlane would work, as the lines wouldn't match, but after having a browse online, it looks like they have the same doors.

Anyone got pics of a standard AU with a fairlane front?

Cheers

personally I'm not to sure, just be aware the egg crate reo is different, made the mistake, that reo bolts up, just a standard bumper wont fit on a fairlane reo, so in way's is encouraging, personally I'd love to see a ute with the front end, I think that'd be nice and different to. 8-)

check out EVL098's build thread, has put a fairlane front end onto a 5.0L ute. looks prime in my opinion, thinking about convincing my old man to do it to my old AUII XR6 ute.
