just a silly question, when do the bf coils need replacing roughly? and also could it be the cause of my issue?
when i start the car every now and then mostly when the engine is hot and its a very hot day, it will be a little harder to start and sometimes it starts and then quickly stalls, it idles like a dream and has good power but its just the start up issue had me thinking about the coils.

when i say harder to start i mean it will just take a couple extra winds but starts up on all 6 fine. and its only done it 4 odd times in the past fortenite that ive owned it.

could be a fueling issue? dirty injectors?

usually with coils they die and stay dead.

thing is it runs beautiful and its only hot days im getting the problem once its already been running, i did think about spark plugs or injectors, have put injector cleaner in it yesterday with a full tank of 98 so ill see how it goes then

look at fuel filter first, ba/bf coils usually break down under load and normally last 100-150,000kms..

get use to the problematic b series...lol

I'd rather drive an E series than any other newer ford, only because you can see out the back haha. Hate new cars and their ridiculous blind spots! lol
