ok few questions for the mighty lol
recently went to use the fan in my eb falcon only to realise that the fan wont work on any setting execpt boost and the air direction is stuck on the windscreen. so is the problem the control unit or the box under the dash? |

Sounds like the fan control resistor has s**t itself and the other problem would be a vacuum line falling off, possibly under the bonnet. |

thanks evxr6 dont spose you know where abouts the resister is? or the vac lines that enter the cabin are? will have a look tommorow

Where the big black hose that plugs into the brake booster at the rear of the intake manifold, that's where the HVAC vacuum lines plug in. It's likely the HVAC control line has fallen off the engine. Look for a 5mm black line floating around the washer bottle. For the resistor see here: {DESCRIPTION} I have the same problem. It doesn't like working on hot days. |

thanks evxr6 it gives me a direction to look at tommorow.
will let you know how i go (btw) ever going north? need to get a line up black falcons. forgot to ask Benj when i saw him lol |
