Hey guys, my dailys a 99 AU xr8 ex pursuit which has no power/econ button for the gearbox, is there a way to have this function or is it completely deleted from this spec?

My bet is you have the adaptive shift BTR gearbox. Was an option on the XR/(And I believe)Ghia model AUs.

if it doesnt have the econ button it has a fully adaptive shift, you drive soft it changes early and soft, drive harder and it will adapt and change harder and later..

The XR8's in the AU series had " Adaptive Shift "....it actually has 5 modes to pick from, depending on driving style at the time.
Obviously, the 6's just had just 2 modes, chosen by the driver.
