hey guys got a eb with a ef motor in it i am using all eb management so all the same as a eb would be.
i brought it and got it running runs sweet but just a couple things that i need help with 1: oil pressure guage goes past 7 off the clock any ideas ? matter off switch might be stuffed? just wondering how to fix that 2: theres a white sorter plug on the passenger side towords back the block is that a plug for the ef do i need to use in in the eb ? |

1) will be a stuffed sender.

Do I need the knock sensor in eb management ?

Thanks heaps It's not really nessacary, it was just for the EF, leave it unplugged, as for the oil pressure gauge, make sure you are using an EB oil pressure sensor, the EF ones I beleve are different and will be telling the gauge some tall stories. With the oil pressure thing, make sure the wire hasnt come off the sender, My XG did the same. As soon as you turned the key to accessories it shot straight up past seven and stopped their. Got underneath, plugged the wire thing back on and now it works again.

I will get a eb one The wires on does both when it's on and off I'm assuming it's a ef one as I don't no what the guy I got the car off did Cheers guys |

The EF oil pressure sender is the round looking type about 2" long with a plastic body. From memory the EA/D type are longer hexagonal looking metal bodied thing. And yes, the EF type will give incorrect readings in an EB and vice versa.

did you fit a oil pressure switch or a oil pressure sender??
2 different things.. pressure switch is for models with the oil light only.( smallish in size) pressure sender is for models with the oil pressure gauge..( rather bulbus and large in size) |

Ahh damit I put smallish switch in lol
Off to sprints tomorrow lol And guys I can't get my timing to stay hook the two spades on diagnostic plug and it's smack on ignition mark as soon as I take tem off its about 20 mm to drivers side car any ideas It's a ef motor with eb management eb series 2 |
