hi my son hooked a battery in my xg ute the other day and put pos to neg and neg to pos for bout 10 mins he said...now i cant start my car...checked forums to get ideas...tried crt lmp fuse...fuses under the bonnet but got no idea after that...turn ignition on fuel pump primes but wont crank....red light called brake fail comes on when u turn the key...any ideas?

Did you check the relays near the battery? If its not cranking but still priming fuel you might have killed the starting relay. The brake fail light is nothing to worry about (unless is comes on when the ute is actually running) My XG comes up with brake fail light as well. If its not the relay then you might have melted a wire somewhere
