Hey guys,
Will be getting a chip very soon but want to take out the 'shift kit' already done. Shifts great when driving hard but general driving is a pain since it smashs gears, plus it's a auto so it shouldn't shift that hard. I'm guessing its the home job style shift kit and being terrible with anything to do with electrical stuff and diagrams (my old man is decent) could you please explain how to remove the shift kit? Should also note it will flair into 3rd 70% of the time. Cheers |

harsh shifts are what the shift kit does, unless its an adjustable one.
if the gears flair into 3rd with the shift kit, chances are it will flair much worse without one, meaning your trans is probably not to good... |

I'll give it a shot this afternoon.
Sorry to sound like a clown, where is the ecu? I had my thoughts the box might be heading out, might as well look into a rebuild after Christmas. What do you think I would be looking at? |
