Hey everyone, bit of a dumb question haha.
The black gauge surround thing on my XG is being a pain to get out. I removed the pull switches for headlights etc etc, took two screws out the top, and another two screws under the pull switches. The top half comes out, but its like it is clipped in down the bottom. Anyone know how it comes out because i dont want to break it haha.

The blue stars is where i have taken screws out of.
EDIT- this was meant to be in interior forum :x my bad

It's been a long time since I removed that bit on my XF, but I don't think they're clipped on.
It might be just stuck to the vinyl.
A gentle pry with a small screw driver, or plastic blade of some sort might get it free. 'Gentle' being the important word, that plastic can be very brittle.

Take the fuse cover off.

Two screws going vertically into the surround from underneath. You need to get right in there with a light to see them, bit tricky.
