i put a deposit on a fiesta over the weekend and did some comparing with the new metal and the base CL
the metal has 98kw and the CL has 88kw and I was told the intake and exhaust is different
well the rear muffler exit is but the diameter and the design is the same (by eye) and the intake track is the same as all the part numbers matched.
the engine numbers have a different prefix though.
the metal still has rear drums which is strange and is misses out of some of the zetec chrome work

so all in all the metal is $10k more than the CL but is it worth it???.
anyway
i got a CL in black for just over $15k, getting some rims and tints as well at my cost $1500

the metal is a rare car, i believe only 500 were being brought to australia. exhaust sounds slightly different. instead of chrome look they werent for the black look since it only comes out in black. cant remember from memory if the engine numbers are different but i wouldnt think so since its still the same engine just slightly moded for the little extra power. we have sold 3 of them and cant get any more since there arent anymore to get

I would have thought it might be zetec that makes the 10kw, it does in the focus'. Though I don't know if they still make them now they are coming out of thailand.

maybe they are surplus zetecs from germany?
