Ride: EL fairmont Ghia

Location: Penrith
NSW, Australia

I have his stage 2 head and cam package. He will be tuning it very soon.
I have a el fairmont ghia, full set of pipes and that's about it. Goes very well, even the Holden boys are impressed. She doesn't start to pull hard until 30-40kms and power gets going at 2,500 personally.
Mines quite heavy on fuel 13-14 per 100 that's both run around and highway but I do drive hard.
Would recommend to anyone plus the guy is a top bloke.

My stage 3 head and 2a cam is done, waiting on it in the mail, can they be driven without a tune safely?

Joe also mentioned to me I need the cam bolt out of my current head, is it possible to buy a new one? I'd rather not reuse any very important parts.

What is it like to drive daily? I'm hoping for a nice decent spread of torque from early to mid range, so I've gone with pacie 4499 and 2a cam.

You can reuse the Cam Bolt, there will be no issues with that.

You won't need a tune as the ECU will be able to handle the 2A cam without a problem. Just have your battery disconnected when you do the head change and yhe ECU will reset and all will be good.

Thanks SWC!

Also a big shout out to SWC for sourcing me a cylinder head, a set of new lifters and delivering it to CMS for me.

Also thanks to Joe at CMS for putting up with my constant emails asking him everything under the sun and doing the head work for me :)
