Ok guys, i'm having an issue with fan control. Fan speed (1234) works fine. Just the zone control is stuck on demister/windscreen and feet area (middle dash vents not working). Also A/C button switches on, but compressor doesn't engage? I've got the dash facia off and have been looking for vacuum leaks with no success.... Any suggestions people?

Vac leak at the manifold is my bet.

It does have a slight flat spot above idle... So i've Tried spraying contact cleaner over the gasket area... I even had the garden hose out and drowned the whole manifold, It didn't effect how it ran. Any other suggestions?

I think that's the problem..... I just found one of the ports in the vacuum block had s**t in it! the zone control is working on middle setting, though it's still blowing air on the windscreen when on foot setting.
The small nylon hose going into the cabin, should that hold pressure or vacuum? Because it doesn't... Cheers |
