I am swapping the manual out of my EL to an auto...(factory manual to standard EL auto)

Can I just swap to an auto computer and engine harness or do I have to swap the whole harness?

If I had to guess, I'd say it'd be the tech doco in reverse. Does that mention anything about harnesses?
