Hi I'm on new on here and I was wondering what are my options if my manual clutch cable has pulled though my firewall and its not always engaging properly. All holidays I've been doing the interior up and when I pulled the carpet out I seen a hole the size of 50 cent piece. Uploading photos soon.

For your clutch cable, make this:
http://www.fordmods.com/fordmods-technical-documents-diy-f38/firewall-re-enforcment-plate-manual-e-series-t66746.html It prevents the cable from pulling through the fire wall.

What should I do if it's already pulled through the firewall?

Still make it. It replaces the factory bung.

I have this there from previous owner but my gears don't always engage properly and clutch doesn't seem to want to work properly all the time

So the plate is already there?
Clutch adjusted properly? I raised my clutch pedal by 2 turns on the nut and it made a world of difference.
