Hey people, I've got an NA Fairlane with air conditioning that isn't working at all. I've done a bit of researching and apparently I need a new fan speed resistor, but I'm thinking there may be more to it. Because my fan speed resistor isn't working correctly, the fan only works on the heat setting, but even then it's never hot.
Where can I go to have it all looked at properly in VIC? I'm living near Ballarat but if necessary I can travel to Melbourne.

I generally go to a place called Kar Air. But they're based in Ferntree Gully which is a bit far for you to travel. First thing I'd be doing is checking over the basics, do a diagnostic on the climate control module, see if the fan fuse is blown, make sure no vac lines are off, check to see if the a/c compressor's seized, check to see if there's any gas in the system, there's a few easy things you can do, beyond that it starts to get a bit more technical, but there's a few things u can do without taking it somewhere.
