The silver stuff on the sides of my EA seems to be chipping off and looks crap...where can I get some of this stuff and how difficult is it to fix it on..what all would I require??

It's very simple to do. Just peel off the old strips, and remove all the old glue. Then glue the new strips on!

A few members have done it. They'll be able to tell you where to get the stuff.

Yeah I would be interested in what type of glue is supposed to be used as well. One of the chrome strips on my car looks like it's developing a bubble :(

Supercrap Auto. You can buy the chrome backing tape itself -$5

or you can buy the 5-7m? rolls. It's the flexible rubber mould with the peel away adhesive contact, and has the chrome strip on the outside.

For the thicker NA-NL chrome stripping, any signwriter or bodywork place can get the chrome stuff in, in many sized widths.
