Couple of quick questions.... When I remove the trans cooling lines from the old radiator, will I lose trans fluid?

Also, when I connect the trans lines to the new radiator, is there a procedure to bleed the lines of air?

Nope do not stress

you will only lose a few tea spoons but since its a EB its so easy to cheek the trans fluid just cheek and top up if needed

Also nope there is no procedure at all to bleed the air out

Remember the clutch fan is a funky thread so tighten the fan as you have a screw driver stopping the water pump spinning, so tighten it to remove opposite it is

You will lose bugger all fluid. Will only need to top it up a tad.

^^^^^^^^^^^ what he said

But also i believe any Dex 3 should work since the most you will lose is 1/4 of a cup but i am not sure i know the BTRs take the TQ95 but since your in NZ it may be hard to find the TQ95 stuff

But you cant add more then a 100-200ML of dex 3 etc in

On the EB you do not need to remove the clutch fan to remove the radiator. You just need to push the shroud back towards the engine.
Your advice on removing the clutch fan is appreciated though.

Yep, you are correct. I will however be removing the fan to replace the water pump, and already looked at the new one and figured the thread was LH

What makes you say it's easy because it's an EB? Are other models different?

Its easy to check trans fluid on an EB as it has a dipstick. Late EF till current have no dipstick so its alot harder to check the fluid levels.
