Yep AU is the last nice car Ford have done IMO. but its all matter of opinion haha

Mine was from Mildura, which is a pretty hot dry place most of the time.

I havent been on here in a while so i thought i better update i dont think much has happend since last time most of my time has gone into the fairlane.

firstly got the new tyres put on the 10inch dragways

a guy i know built these a fair while ago and offerd them to me

more work in the boot

Thats about where im upto interior should be going back together in a couple of weeks i also rego'd it last week still more work to do in the boot also have another bonnet that will be painted with the door will also be respraying both front gaurds and bumpers. also have a few diffs lying around end result will be a 3.5 disc brake LSD also have a 4sp single rail lined up. Once the paintings done and the boots finished ill be getting a 4 barrel manifold and new carbie aswell as head work and a nice cam.

been along time since last post so ill bring everyone up to date.

put the map pockets and padded arm rests on the door trims

clevo come apart

got some new non genuine tail lights cheap

bought some short stroke shocks

engine and box come out

old crossflow had a poor rebuild and the rings werent sealing and it lost alot of power and the clevo being a while off i source another

welded up some holes along the rad support may end up doing some more yet

thats about where im at front ends being resprayed and bumper sprayed like a ghia also have the thick ghia style side moulds, interiors being redone in dark grey and also a manual conversion.

I also purchased a daily driver 98 EL GLI 240,000 head gasket and water pump done $1500 with 6 months rego.

also grabbed this on sale will help when it comes time to get the spray gun out

nice work man. looks really tidy.

i know il get flamed but have you thought about skipping the clevo and building up a tough crossflow?
there something about a 250x-flow with tripple webbers and a big cam that gets me randy lol

either way nice work. im watchn with interest.

If i cant get the clevo mod plated easily ill keep it for another project and build a tough crossflow ill know wich way ill be going engine wise alittle later in the year.
