please how change cam position sensor code 214 (cmp)
just the sensor not the whole thing that looks like a dissy.
in a EF 6cyl

What exacly are you wanting to do?

Do you want to clear the code or change it? You can't change the code.

214 is Cam Angle Sensor out of range. If you have a fault with the sensor and not the wiring you will need to replace the sensor.

Remove the 2 screws from air intake duct and remove air intake duct from car.Reach in and disconnect cam position sensor electrical connector.Using small extension socket lowered down between intake manifold runners,undo the 2 retaining nuts on the top of cam position sensor and then the top black part of the sensor will lift straight up away from sensor main body.Installation of new sensor is a reversal of above procedure.May also be a good idea to disconnect negative battery terminal before you start so that you do not short anything out.
