Hey people, the previous owner of my panel van lost the immobilizer key and has ripped out a few wires coming from the loom that lead to the unit, in order to disable it I guess... haha which in turn has given me a headache to deal with. Can they be removed or bypassed is the question at hand. At the mo im pulling the dash off to locate where the wires have been "disconnected" and ill just get a new key reprogrammed but ild rather have no immobilizer to be honest. Any help is appreciated, cheers!

yes they can be bypassed, there will be 4 or 2 "main plugs" in the untit one will control ignition the other starter motor. you can tell by each plug will have 2 wires coming out of a single spade connector. there also may be a ignition/fuel pump cut off.
just try to find your immobilizer on google and find a wiring diagram. im going to let you assume the rest as i dont want to let half assed thieves getting any ideas!
