just wondering if anyone knows what the gear lever knob thread size is on a ba 5 speed manual cheers.

believe it is the same as the e series with a standard size of m10

M10 , but you can fit the knob on a M12 e,g if you bought a short shifter just force it on or drill out

ok, thanks for the replies, does anyone know the pitch
basically ive bought a short shifter from the states and it 12x1.75 and i was hoping the xr knob may fit it as im fitting a ba gear boot to the car (xg ute) and sort of wanted everything to like factory modified if that makes sense cheers
