hi everyone,
so ive been doing a bit of research on here and changing diff ratios to compensate for the horrible 1st gear ratio in the btr autos and my question is say if you got an el auto and you want a 3.9:1 or 4.11:1 diff ratio ive seen people say to get a jaycar speedo corrector kit to get the speedo reading true but after the ratio change then the shift patterns are out (as in it kicks down early or to late) is there anything that can be done to correct this or will it require a j3 chip and tune ive also read that the vehicle may reach the speed limiter quicker, perhaps even before a 1\4 mile run is finished, i know you can get limiter removers from shiftkits.com but is there a diy fix for this that doesnt cost $145 thanks everyone. muchly appreciated.
