Does anyone know if its possible to make the steering a little lighter in my Falcon FG?

I'm okay with it, but when my wife gets into the car from another she says the falcon feels big and heavy and I want her to like the car as much as me. :) She didn't used say that with our (sold) AU.

the only way is to run slightly higher tyre pressure in the front...

I see,
and on the same line of thinking, I suppose, in theory, a larger steering wheel.

Yes, but will you be able to tolerate a steering wheel size increase on the eyes?

Exactly, where would you get one that was compatible?

I am not sure my good man about different models compatibility with your car to keep it stock but could only offer maybe an aftermarket solution and in turn you would lose steering wheel added function buttons and have to deal with a boss kit pushing the steering wheel closer. I will have to leave a better answer to the community. I hope you come up with a solution because although I hate the old " happy wife" saying its true. Good luck

The wife might need some.....uummmm.....arm muscle toning type exercises...????.... :?
Either that, or put some skinnyer rims/tyres on it.

+1 38-40psi in the front tyres
+1 arm muscle exercises for the wife

My AU steering feels way over-powered, and my EF steering feels under-powered, so I suspect it's just the way it's designed, and not much you can do about it.

Run 2 power steering pumps lol. Or somehow increase the line pressure. I doubt these options will work lol, but I thought I'd mention them anyway.

I would have thought the line pressure was controlled by a pressure limiting valve of some type, as the pressure has to be adequate at whatever engine revs.

Line pressure will work - that's how SSPS on the EL Ghias and NL Fairlanes work, a solenoid valve on the return port either restricting or permitting pressure.
The pumps are a variable demand type anyway, i.e. they'll supply more pressure going out to L or R lock, and minimal pressure at centre position.
The racks are variable ratio too - meaning the rate of turn is less on straight ahead, than at full lock.
